Dr. Caroline Lee Recognized as ASCPT Member of the Month - May, 2014

Each month, the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (ASCPT) calls out one member who has gone the extra mile in support of the society’s events and activities. Caroline Lee, PhD, newly appointed to QPS’ Hepatic Biosciences Group, is already making news by being recognized by the ASCPT as Member of the Month for May, 2014.

Many scientists in transporter research are active in the ASCPT, and the increasing clinical significance of transporters is often discussed at their Annual Meeting. Dr. Lee, who works on drug-transporter interactions, became involved with the ASCPT through its collaboration with the International Transporter Consortium. She finds ASCPT membership particularly useful to connect with others in her field and to keep abreast of advances in understanding the practical effects of transporters on drug interactions and pharmacogenetics.

QPS applauds Dr. Lee for her exemplary leadership.
