Wound Healing Studies at QPS

At QPS, we utilize in vivo animal models, including rodents, rabbits, and mini-pigs, as they are among the most efficient and clinically relevant approaches for studying wound healing. Our skilled veterinarians perform surgeries to test wound healing, ensuring comprehensive post-operative monitoring of clinical observations, body weight, and food consumption.

Wounds are regularly measured for assessment of the extent of healing. At the completion of the in-life experimentation, our board-certified pathologist (DACVP) performs histopathology examination of the wound tissues. All studies are reviewed by IACUC in compliance of animal welfare requirements.

Radiolabeled ADME Studies

A well-conceived and executed preclinical radiolabeled ADME program will provide you with a detailed assessment of the total fate (mass balance, route and rate of excretion, tissue distribution, metabolic pathways, and identity and quantity of metabolites) of your drug candidate to support regulatory submissions.

QPS is a true turnkey ADME study provider, ensuring the efficient execution of your radiolabeled research studies.

By placing your DMPK studies with QPS, you will benefit from:

  • Direct communication with experienced ADME scientists for optimal study planning and execution.
  • A senior technical professional to expedite your drug candidate through preclinical to clinical ADME studies.
  • Seamless transfer of compound-specific procedures between preclinical and clinical teams to minimize delays and ensure high-quality study reports ready for regulatory filing.
