Formed in early 2006, Delaware BioScience Association (Delaware Bio) has brought together pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms, medical device manufacturers, agricultural biotech and chemical companies, research and testing companies, hospitals and medical institutions, and other organizations and related service companies, with the shared goal of expanding our state’s vibrant science economy. THE KITCHEN, INC.’S RARE BREED YOUTH SERVICES
Staff of QPS Missouri prepare meals for The Kitchen, Inc.’s Rare Breed Youth Services. The meals were distributed to homeless youth in Springfield.
CONNIE’S CRITTERS
The QPS Missouri team partners with Connie’s Critters for their annual Toy Drive, making the holidays a little brighter for children in Springfield.
PROJECT CURE
Joseph LeMin and Manju Karandikar volunteer at Project c.u.r.e. They helped shrink wrap pallets (of mostly hazmat suits), and prep other medical supplies destined for underserved regions around the globe.
ST. JOHN’S PARISH
Renay Buckery volunteers at St.John’s Parish Outreach Center. She helped with food distribution to local families in need.
BREAST CANCER RESEARCH FOUNDATION
QPS employees have an annual event to donate baked goods and purchase baked goods to raise money to support BCRF.
EARTH DAY
QPS employees organize an annual event to pick up trash and discarded items from the Newark, Delaware QPS Headquarters campus. Many people are instrumental in supporting this great event, Hui Zhang (pictured) has been a passionate organizer for almost 18 years!
CLEAN COMMUNITIES
QPS employees in Missouri are out on the streets near the clinic picking up trash several times a year. They have adopted a stretch of the highway and are committed to keeping the area clean!
CLINICAL TRIALS DAY
QPS employees in Missouri host an onsite extravaganza to raise awareness in the community about clinical trials and to educate the local community. Local businesses are invited, and hot dogs and balloons are free!
UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER GRONINGEN (UMCG) CANCER RESEARCH FUND
QPS employees in Groningen, The Netherlands, participate in the annual swim team challenge to raise awareness and funding for the UMCG Cancer Research Fund.
DELAWARE UNIVERSITY GRADUATE SUPPORT
