Our ESG approach is integrated into the way we do business and is guided by responsible governance, scientific excellence, and collaboration across our global organization. We continually evaluate opportunities to improve our environmental performance, strengthen ethical business practices, and work with our suppliers and partners to support a more sustainable value chain.
As part of our commitment to climate action, QPS has established a comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory covering Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. In February 2026, our near-term emissions reduction targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), demonstrating that our climate goals are aligned with the latest climate science. We also participate in EcoVadis to benchmark our sustainability performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. This independent assessment supports our ongoing efforts to strengthen our ESG management systems and supply chain engagement.

QPS History
Dr. Benjamin M. Chien founded Quest Pharmaceutical Services in 1995 to provide high quality bioanalytical LC-MS/MS contract services. Since then, QPS has posted impressive growth every year and has grown from a small molecule bioanalysis shop of three people to more than 1,250+ employees in the United States, Europe, India and Asia. Over the years, the company has adopted additional services, including Pharmacology, DMPK, Toxicology, Translational Medicine, Early Phase Clinical Research and Phase II – IV Clinical Research.

Gene Therapy Milestones
Since 1998, QPS has provided comprehensive bioanalytical services for gene therapy development projects. QPS has CLIA-certified and GLP-compliant laboratories ready fast track RT-qPCR/QPCR and Serological Assays, and vaccine development programs.
Oligonucleotide Milestones
Since 2003, QPS has provided comprehensive bioanalytical services for oligonucleotide drug development projects. QPS has GLP-compliant laboratories and scientific experts well prepared develop and execute ASO/siRNA/aptamers and 20+ mRNA/vectors programs.
