Today, the company announced the launch of a new brand identity to support continued global expansion. Since its inception in 1995, the company has grown from one office headquartered in Delaware to 11 locations around the globe, completed seven corporate acquisitions, and conducted nearly 10,000 pre-clinical and clinical research studies.
“Over the years, QPS has grown dramatically through both organic growth and successful acquisitions. While there has been some level of brand alignment along the way, many sites continued to use hybrid names, logos, and site-specific branding,” said Dr. Benjamin Chien, CEO, QPS, LLC. “The new branding positions QPS in the market as one, global CRO in the eyes of our current customers and potential new customers,”
Uniting QPS under one collective set of branding elements – including logo, tagline, colors, fonts and graphic elements – brings internal teams closer together, helps customers better understand the global nature of the services QPS provides, and streamlines the company’s ability to promote its brand globally to drive continued growth.

The hummingbird flies with speed, agility and precision; its top speed exceeds 24 miles per hour, with some species diving at speeds in excess of 49 miles per hour. It has the unique ability to hover, fly straight, in reverse, upwards, downwards, and even upside down. “Like a hummingbird, QPS has the ability to navigate the most complex pharmaceutical studies with remarkable agility, meet rigorous timelines and requirements, and can flex and accommodate unseen needs,” Pastore said. “Drawing on the attributes of flexibility, nimbleness and speed, the new logo uses the form of an angular, modern hummingbird to personify the QPS brand.”
The new tagline, ‘Custom-Built Research,’ emphasizes that modern drug development is an extremely complex process, which requires care, commitment and a customized approach to ensure a successful result.
“The more formulaic, cookie-cutter approach is no longer adequate, nor ideal, for the nimble requirements of today’s drug development demands,” said Chien. “’Custom-built’ emphasizes that QPS will be working together, in a partnership with the client, to design and deliver the best possible program to ensure top quality results.”
